Área de Tourism

The Tourism Department carries out its services through the municipal Tourism Office which, since 1997, forms part of the Tourist Info Network of the Generalitat Valenciana.

The purpose of the Network is to offer a complete range of homogenous information and reception services for tourists within the territory of the Valencian Community as far as concerns its image, support, contents and method of working. It main objective is to contribute to the quality of the tourist product, offering the visitor a competitive service in the destination which benefits their degree of satisfaction as to destination loyalty processes, at the same time as giving a positive image.

The main tasks carried out by the tourism area are essentially:

• Respond to requests for tourist information of the destination in its after-sales service.
• Plan the activities of the tourism Department in the areas of the promotion and improvement of the tourist product.
• Coordinate with other municipal services, Administrations and companies in the tourist sector both to constantly update information for tourists and to gather data, as well as to promote our tourist destination.
